After watching the Three myths of behavior change and realizing that all along that common sense actually does not contribute to anything. Common sense makes no sense at all and matter of fact its rather confusing trying to make it make sense you will definitely be confused while being trapped in a fixed mindset. In order to get out of a fixed mindset you have to be willing to make sacrifices to help you make those changes by stepping outside the box. Not doing the expected but the unexpected giving others information that will inspire them to want to do better, keeping them motivated in the process, be able to give them real life experiences that maybe they can connect with that brings value to why change is needed. Then we can get better results when it comes to making change with Social Interaction on a positive level.

When it comes to my innovation plan and getting the leaders in my school district to try implementing Blended Learning into our now curriculum most likely will be a challenge but with the help of the 6 sources of influences can be a great start to changing the system and them as well. First beginning with the self...during this pandemic we as people have been faced with so much life and death situations that some of us don't know if we are coming or going but with the 6 sources of influences it will help build back personal ability/motivation, social ability/motivation and structural ability/motivation which are all the things that are needed to help promote change in not only the self but the things around you which will eventually promote change in the educational system.

Looks like we need help in ALL school districts. Covid is on the rise, teachers are getting sick and its hard to find sub teachers that want to deal with this generation of children. Its a huge mess with the educational system now. There is no structure..... I ask myself daily will there ever be change for these children or will we continue to let this happen.

I over heard a parent express how their childs teacher has not been back to the school and they have no clue what's going on at the school.

In my opinion based on personal experience with some of these schools they aren't sending the parents any updates of the teachers or the students because its all about the money that the school is not seeing. Its crazy for real but this is the type of society we are apart of just sad.

The head won't go where the heart hasn't been.....

After viewing this weeks videos I have come to realize that in order to captures one attention in trying to get them to change is not feeding them information because half the time people already know that part because others have already talked with them on the issue at hand. Hell they are tired of you going on and on about what they need to do and HOW you think they should go about doing it. This crap is not working and in order to change or make changes you have to captures ones heart.

Starting with WHY... majority of the time people already have a feeling they need to change or make changes but don't really know how to change and will most likely need a push of motivation to get them started. Then you have others who just wake up and say today I'm gonna change and just do it.

Growing up I've always been told to think with my brain (mind) not my heart because your heart can lead you down some tough roads (traditional way). In all honesty the heart can to but with the heart its different the heart feels pain, emotions, and other heartfelt things that tugs at that organ and once something tugs people at the heart they crave change. They will go above and beyond for that change crazy how something so dramatic has to happen for change to happen.

In the video How to Change People Who Don't Want to Change by The Behavioral Science Guys stuck out to me the most. Now everyday we see adults smoking they already know smoking tobacco is indeed bad for them but they don't care because them smoking does not affect others. But then when these same adults see children under 12 doing it now its bad and something they shouldn't be doing weird right I thought so to. Seeing those kids smoking tugged at those adult smokers hearts (emotional) and now they became the informational givers and right there the roles where switched.

Lesson Learned: Tug at the heart and expect change
