Yep I passed my last and final class in order to graduate it was very tough I can't believed I had come all this way and fumbled at the finish line. Meaning I had been busting ass and working hard to make A's and for some reason I made B's but I went and relooked over a few things and realized I hadn't read them correctly. Thank God for a Professor like Dr. B.

She let me redo the assignments and when I say I came out with an A yesss i can scream and almosr shout. I made it ya'll....and i just so proud of me. Working jobs, hustling doing door dash and tiff treats just to pay out of pocket and finish man it has not been easy and I would and will do it again. I've always wanted to become Dr. King it just have a ring that makes me wanna sing.

I guess I needd to walk across the stage first lol then I'll see what next...oh and pay Lamar the rest of their money

This is the finale….Wow I can say I made it to the position where I am really done with my Master’s Degree. This has truly been an amazing experience and journey that I was able to accomplish through dedication and hard work. Don’t get it twisted I wanted to give up, I even wanted to quit but I have a daughter who looks up to me and students that look at me as an example that they can do better if they dedicate themselves to it.

This final course of the ADL program was similar to a breeze course and went by rather quickly all while connecting the dots to my innovation plan and making everything make sense on the road map as I call it. On this road map you will see from start to finish and then the final outcome of how I got to where I’m currently at and the ultimate ending goal. Finally getting to this finish line was not as easy as I’d had wished but it has definitely left a mark on me as a person knowing that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to no matter the trails. Really and truthfully anything that we do as people we have to work hard for even though hard times will fall upon us and we have to find a better way to handle situations when they arise. And that is what this entire program and course taught me. Being on this program has opened many doors I never thought would be possible for me to walk through and the first of my family generation to do it. Paving the way for the ones coming behind me.

This semester was bittersweet because all of my other group members either had previously graduated or hadn’t made it to this course as of yet so once again here I am stuck in a class where I absolutely knew no one. But, that was only until I logged on to class typed in the chat that I needed a group to join. No one responded for quite a while until I received a personal message from Ms./Mrs. Kristen Sabbatini aka Krissi. I automatically felt it was meant to be because my daughter’s name is Kristen spelled the exact same way and for short it's Krissy (LOL). Then she added me to her group which contains Ms. Elda, and Ms. Erica, two other group members that I started with when I enrolled into the program. It was like a family reunion, and we got straight to work. Since we both are mom and our children attend out of school activities and on top of all of that we work we mostly communicate via Zoom, Email, Text, and Talking which would last for hours at a time which was cool because even if we needed help from each other all lines of communication was open to talk and get things rolling in a timely manner. With only 2 members in our group, we made it work to the best of our ability and really worked our butts off to get to where we are currently.

For course 5320 I rate myself 95/100. I choose to rate myself at a 95% due to the fact that even though I complete all assignments in a timely manner. I had several revisions to make corrections for simple mistakes such as spelling. I did what Dr. B insisted that I do, which was relook over my assignments and make necessary corrections. She didn’t have to mention the part about resubmitting because I knew that if I was getting the information, it was for me to put it to use and do something about it. I also gave myself the score of 95% because this semester I knew what was up, I knew I couldn’t bull crap around. I had to put my best foot forward and make something shake and if I have to say so myself I did just that. And I feel GREAT like Tony the Tiger.

Looking back and fast forwarding to now I must say I’ve come a very long way from being a digital learner to actually being a digital leader. No, this journey has not been easy, but I’ve managed to travel this road through the ADL program with a great network of people who also want to make a difference in education. For that I am truly grateful, having a learning community and a group of individuals just like me who I could collaborate with and share ideas throughout our courses.

Along this journey I have been able to create and implement new ways of learning in the classrooms I currently sub. Below are a list of items and projects I have had the pleasure of creating throughout my journey.

During the creation of my innovation plan I had no clue what I was doing. I had just started full-time with the school district and was still feeling my way around the learning process. I was able to write a letter to my then principal concerning how I felt our school needed the correct materials such as computers for every student so that we could start them on the path of implementing blended learning. During the pandemic I saw my district suffering and wanted to find a way to make a way for the students to succeed in their communities.

Organizational change

When it came to organizing change within my school is was rough because some of the teachers were so used to the old way of learning that they were forgetting that times have changed and this new generation of learners learn different and in order to reach and teach the students. During this course I had to give reasons as to why I believed this change needed to happen within our district. After presenting this I feel like I started to break through and the admins started to hear me

Significant Learning Environment

Call to Action

ePortfolio

Creating and overall eportfolio was very challenging but i got it done. I looked at many sites that I could use to help build my eportfolio and landed on Wix since it was a tad bit eaiser to use and navigate. With a little guidance from youtube university I was able to create something i never thought i would be able to create. from learning how to add pages, adding graphic and pictures, learning how to embed links and videos, creating blogs.

Making Connections

Having a personal learning NETWORK COLLOBRATION group throughout my time within the adl program has really been a huge help. Coming into this program not really knowing what I was doing or to expect but was forced to connect with other educator such as myself which turned out better than expected and honestly made this journey much better.

Out of everything I have accomplished throughout this entire course I must say what truly made me feel like I could do anything I put my mind to and thats when I first got into the program and realized I was going to create a working classroom boy was I scared but I put my mind to it and look at me now in the year 2023 getting ready to graduate and have my Masters in Education. I would've never thought I make it to the finishline but here I AM!!!!!!
