Wow!!! Yet another week of some awesome videos geared towards helping change the old way of learning and creating something new. In the video provided by Ken Robinson was very artsy and creative I love how animated the video was really head my attention through out the presentation and that’s a great way to reach our youth/students. Giving them something they can interact with and that will definitely keep them interested and ready to learn instead of being discouraged. Video two was straight to the point and the observation I received from that video and to definitely take back with me is to make learning fun again as Dr. H would say.
Since being a sub, I have encountered quite a few things in the classroom and honestly the children are bored with little to no structure which has caused them to get themselves in trouble and not staying focused on their studies and that has been a huge problem since going through the pandemic. This video basically lets us know how to go about changing it with 3 rules. Rule 1: Courtesy comes first. Rule 2: Embrace the mess/ Trial and Error. Rule 3: Practice Reflection. The third video reflected on how one comes up with good ideas but in all honesty good ideas come from small ideas that needed another small idea to become a bigger idea. All of the videos provided were right on time since the next assignment.
