Yet is an open mindset, not being restricted to a fixed mindset. Brooding your ability to learn new things that you knew nothing about but after having an open mindset you are able to take in what new things you have just learned.

Adopting to the growth mindset will cause (me) to have the ability to learn more and want to learn more by changing the thinking process.

When having a growth mind set you steady ask questions because you want to know and learn new techniques and tools to help you understand what it is that you are asking and trying to accomplish. Having this type of mindset can change how you ask and respond to others.

The growth mindset is suitable for all ages. It can and will definitely help my kinder class. Getting the littles to understand can be difficult at first but doing and improving the students daily can have a huge impact on the way they learn on a daily basis. The growth mindset creates confidence and persistence.

To learn more about the growth mindset process I would use resources like google, YouTube, just do an overall internet search along with getting books about the growth mind set to get a better understanding for myself and how to help my students understand that change is good.

Comparing the fixed mind set to the growth mind set based off the graphic below you can tell right off that the person with the fixed mind set rather not try to fix or solve problems. When this person is faced with challenges and different obstacles they don’t do well and will most likely give up before even trying. On the other hand the person with the growth mindset is ready for different challenges, ready to learn and excel in new learning objectives. Brain is active and ready for new things to learn and accomplish

Hello Everyone,

My name is Eddricka King from Houston Texas. I have so many hobbies but my favorite one has to

be reading and exploring new eating places. Yes, I love to eat. I have a job just for food lol.

My personal interest related to digital learning came around the beginning of the pandemic I realized

by working in the school system we meaning the entire school system were not mentally prepared for schools

to participate in online learning. Because its not taught til you reach college. This has been a huge eye opener

on how students are taught.

I'm interested in learning how to better my self with digital tech in the education field so that i can use what i have learned apply

it to my daily work as well as one day educating others in my field how much digital learning plays a major roll in all education not just higher education

There are so many benefits when it comes to networking….Upon entering the digital learning graduate program, I said to myself….self how are we going to make it through this program with such a hectic schedule?

Fortunately I'm truly grateful to be able to form PNLs with other colleagues in my current field which has been a major help. Since becoming a substitute teacher not really knowing what I was getting myself into I began to form relationships with full time teachers in order to be able to deliver the materials to the students. Being able to connect with these professional educators through groups on Facebook, LinkedIn and currently being in Class 5305 Disruptive Innovation has been a great help in making my decision to move forward with the educational field.

Thinking back, I have had an amazing experience connecting with members of these current learning communities. You learn so much more when you listen….sometimes well most of the time when you hear someone else you can they can help you push your ideas forward. At first I was so nervous when choosing to go back to school then I really shocked myself when I decided to take 4 classes online at that. Forming groups within my classes with other colleagues have been a true blessing. My group is amazing and have been truly helpful with getting me all caught up when i miss class due to work overload and always asking what can we do to help. I Am truly grateful……
